I took the LSAT today, and I think (hope) it went well. Ever since dreams of “professional Lego builder” as a future career were dashed, I’ve wanted to be a lawyer. I studied really hard and it feels like my goal and sense of life purpose hang in the balance, so let’s all cross our fingers and hope I did well! Plus, the idea of having to spend 7 hours in a Marriott ballroom in Bethesda AGAIN for the October test is heartbreaking.

SO not what I would do if I were a pro Lego-er, but oddly representative of how I felt before the LSAT...
One thing is for certain: I did better than the woman near me who ran out of the room screaming and crying during hour 4. And the 27 people who bailed out at the break!
Oh, and another thing is for certain: I am a tool. I made myself a mix CD to sing along with on my way to and from the test because, well, because I like to sing in the car and I never lost that middle school love of mix CDs. One song on it is “Party and Bullshit in the USA,” which I was semi-blaring and singing along with while I drove past the housing projects on my way home in my mother’s Volvo. Only when every project resident on the corner laughed at me while I was at a stop sign did I realize what a jackass I looked like/was. whoooooopsie.
1. CONGRATS ON TAKING THE LSAT!! I haven’t take a standardized test since the SAT
2. Mixed CDs are awesome and will never go out of style (well until CD players become obsolete, that is)
3. ‘Party and Bullshit in the USA’ = EPIC.
well done! you’re totally winning at Life! miss you!

Where’s the super like button?
The pic is perfect beyond words. Sorry for commenting on an old post– I’m studying for the LSAT so I’m living in a bubble with its own rules.
